    Questions we are often asked

    What time do we board, and when do we come back?

    Guests arrive at Tuan Chau Harbour around 11:45. After a short transfer to Diana, a welcome drink and a safety briefing, you check in to your suite before lunch at 13:00. On the last morning, check-out is at 09:00, brunch is served on the 4th deck and we disembark at Tuan Chau at 10:30.

    How do I get to Tuan Chau from Hanoi?

    We can arrange your transfer: pick-up from hotels in Hanoi’s Old Quarter between 07:40 and 08:30 (outside the Old Quarter, the meeting point is Hanoi Opera House), arriving back in Hanoi around 15:00. Limousine transfers from and to Hanoi or Ninh Binh can be added when you book.

    Which bay does Diana sail?

    Diana leaves from Tuan Chau on Ha Long Bay and crosses into Lan Ha Bay — the quieter extension of Ha Long, with fewer boats. Kayaking and the bamboo boat are at Bright Cave, and the swim stop is at Tra Bau.

    Is there internet on board?

    Yes — Starlink high-speed internet, in every suite, around the clock.

    Are children welcome?

    Of course. Children aged 1–4 sharing a bed with their parents stay free (the first child), and the Royal Family Suite has two bedrooms for up to four guests. See the full child policy on our booking page.

    How do I pay?

    A deposit of 30–50% confirms your suite and the balance is paid at our office on Tuan Chau Island. Card payments carry a 3.7% bank fee. Details are on our booking page.
