The ship

Built for the bay, made for calm

Diana was delivered in October 2025 on a double hull from the Damen yard and is classed VR-SI for two-metre seas and force-eight wind — which in Ha Long means she keeps her schedule when lighter boats do not.

Ninety-five metres long, she carries fifty-six suites across three accommodation decks, with four more decks of public space above: restaurant, lounge, pool, spa, gym, golf and an open rooftop. Every suite has a private balcony and Starlink internet. There is no inside cabin on this ship.

Diana Cruises in brief

What is Diana Cruises?

Diana is a six-star cruise ship launched in October 2025, sailing from Tuan Chau Harbour in Ha Long into Lan Ha Bay. She is 95.1 metres long, with seven decks, 56 balcony suites and room for up to 168 guests. Diana is a VietBay Group ship; her sister ship is the five-star Venus Cruise.

Is dianacruises.com the official website of Diana Cruises?

Yes. dianacruises.com is the official website of Diana Cruises: booking here gives you live availability and our direct rates, with confirmation by email. Our reservations team is on +84 816 361 897 and ota@dianacruises.com.

Which cruises does Diana offer?

Two itineraries from Tuan Chau: 2 days / 1 night, with Bright Cave by kayak or bamboo boat, a swim at Tra Bau, a cooking class and sunrise Tai Chi; and 3 days / 2 nights, which adds a day boat, a cycle to Viet Hai village in Cat Ba National Park and kayaking at Ba Trai Dao.

Where do we board, and how far is it from Hanoi?

At Lot 11B, Tuan Chau International Marina, Ha Long, Quang Ninh — about two and a half to three hours by road from Hanoi. Guests arrive around 11:45, and on the last day we disembark at 10:30. Limousine transfers from Hanoi or Ninh Binh can be added when you book.

Why Lan Ha Bay rather than Ha Long Bay?

Lan Ha Bay is the quieter extension of Ha Long Bay, with fewer boats and unspoiled scenery. Diana leaves from Tuan Chau on Ha Long Bay and crosses into Lan Ha Bay.

Does every suite have a balcony?

Yes. All 56 suites have a private balcony or terrace — there is no inside cabin on the ship — along with a bathtub and Starlink Wi-Fi. There are seven categories, from 30 m² to 55 m².

How is Diana built for the weather on the bay?

Diana has a double hull from the Damen shipyard and is classed VR-SI for two-metre seas and force-eight wind — which in Ha Long means she sails in conditions that keep lighter boats in harbour.

How much does a Diana cruise cost?

Rates depend on your dates, the suite and the rate you choose, flexible or non-refundable. See live availability and prices on our booking page, and our offers, including 10% off with Last Minute and Early Bird bookings.
